Phil Hellmuth will once again emcee the popular annual event
Las Vegas is once again combining poker, philanthropy, and Formula 1 excitement with the return of the Big Deal for One Drop charity poker event. Hosted by Guy Laliberté, founder of Cirque du Soleil and Lune Rouge, the event takes place on November 21 at the Allē Lounge on 66 inside Resorts World Las Vegas, coinciding with F1 Race Week festivities.
The Big Deal brings together celebrities, poker professionals, and racing icons to support One Drop Foundation’s clean water initiatives. The $5,300 buy-in includes $4,000 for the prize pool and $1,000 for charity, with rebuys and add-ons available. Seats are limited, and organizers recommend early registration.
Confirmed participants include poker stars Antonio Esfandiari and Jennifer Tilly, along with racing legends David Coulthard, Courtney Crone, and Kym Illman. Last year’s winner, Derek Adamian, will return to defend his title, while Phil Hellmuth is set to emcee for a second consecutive year.
Laliberté said the event is about combining high-energy poker with a purpose. “The Big Deal is all about adding some fun to Race Week while helping provide access to clean water,” he shared. The poker and Las Vegas communities have consistently supported the initiative since its inception.
In addition to the tournament, there will be a silent auction featuring luxury experiences such as a Singapore Grand Prix VIP package, a Lewis Hamilton artwork, and a WPT Prime Las Vegas seat for 2025. Bidding ends at 3 p.m. PT on the same day as the tournament.
This year marks the first partnership between One Drop Foundation and Elephant Cooperation, joining efforts to promote clean water access and elephant conservation. The Big Deal also aligns with the Fan Prix festival at Resorts World, offering racing fans interactive experiences during F1 week. The event continues to blend poker, charity, and entertainment—showcasing how Las Vegas turns competition into compassion.
