The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is set to return with an even bigger event this December as the third edition of WSOP Paradise takes place from December 4 to December 18 at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The series, known for attracting high rollers, will feature a major increase in its top prize pool. The highlight of the series is the $25,000 Super Main Event, which has raised its guaranteed prize pool from $50 million to a record-breaking $60 million.
The WSOP Paradise series will continue its collaboration with Triton, offering a mix of high-stakes poker events. Although the full schedule has yet to be revealed, several key events are already confirmed.
The series kicks off on December 4 with the WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty, a $2,500 buy-in event. Players who win WSOP Circuit rings between July 1 and December 2 will be eligible for an exclusive $5K Ticket to Paradise package, which includes entry to the event.
Another major event is the Triton Pot Limit Omaha Main Event, set for December 5 with a $100K buy-in. Following this, the Triton Invitational will take place on December 7 with a $250K buy-in, featuring a field split between invited business and entertainment figures and professional poker players. On December 9, the Triton No Limit Hold’em Main Event will offer a $100K buy-in.
WSOP’s Chief Executive Officer, Ty Stewart, has expressed confidence in the event’s success, highlighting the increased prize pool and new events, such as the Super Mystery Bounty. The competition with the World Poker Tour (WPT) is intensifying, and all eyes will be on the response from the rival brand.
