This isn’t the first time the social media personality has had a run-in with the law
Crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, better known as “BitBoy,” has been arrested in Florida, just days after publicly stating that a warrant had been issued for his arrest. The Volusia County Division of Corrections confirmed that Armstrong was taken into custody on March 25 at 7:18 PM. local time, listing him as a fugitive from justice.
I can now confirm that the warrants for my arrest are due to me sending emails (as my own attorney by the way) to the DISHONORABLE Kimberly Childs of @cobbcountygovt who has NOW DELETED her Twitter lmao.
Public officials hiding corruption one day at a time.

Armstrong recently revealed on social media that his legal troubles stemmed from emails he sent to Cobb County, Georgia Superior Court Judge Kimberly Childs while representing himself in court. He claimed that these communications were the reason behind the warrant. His arrest marks another chapter in a series of legal issues that have followed the influencer in recent years.
In September 2023, Armstrong was arrested while livestreaming outside the home of a former business associate, accusing the individual of withholding his Lamborghini. That incident was one of several controversies surrounding his career, including a class-action lawsuit filed in March 2023, which alleged that he promoted Binance and its unregistered securities.
That case was settled in August 2024, with Armstrong and co-defendant Jimmy Butler agreeing to a combined $340,000 payment without admitting wrongdoing.
Beyond legal battles, Armstrong has been involved in high-profile public disputes. In February 2024, he took part in a fight against memecoin developer “More Light” at a Karate Combat event in Mexico, securing a victory by unanimous decision. More Light later described Armstrong as a decent person despite their online disagreements.
Armstrong’s influence in the crypto space has also faced challenges. In August 2023, Hit Network, the company behind the BitBoy Crypto brand, severed ties with him, citing concerns over alleged substance abuse and inappropriate workplace conduct. Armstrong denied the claims, calling it an attempt to oust him from the company.
