Spanish 21 is a blackjack variant played without tens in the deck, though jacks, queens, and kings remain. The game often includes player-friendly rules such as late surrender, doubling after splits, multiple-card bonus payouts, and special treatment for certain 21s. Those rules do not remove the house edge; they change the correct strategy. Because Spanish 21 decisions differ from standard blackjack, tracking performance is useful only when the record includes the rule set and the decisions made, not just wins and losses.
A useful tracking log should record date, casino or software, number of decks, dealer hit-or-stand rule on soft 17, surrender availability, bankroll start, bankroll end, session length, average bet, and notable hands.
