The High Five Edition of our Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms got underway this past Sunday with Day 1A. Players jumped in early to gain momentum in two massive headline events: the $8 Million GTD NLH and the $2 Million GTD PLO. Alongside the action, the Venom Specials kept the schedule stacked with even more opportunities to score.

Venom Special $200,000 GTD

The $200K GTD Venom Special delivered solid value this Sunday, with 962 entries in the $215 buy-in event falling short of the guarantee, resulting in a $7,600 overlay. The tournament ran for nearly 9.5 hours, with 123 players finishing in the money. Here’s how the top three finished:

  1. VV3N00000MM -> $38,695
  2. FlyOn -> $28,360
  3. pokerplayer332 -> $20,703

Venom Special Sunday High Roller $600,000 GTD

The $600K Venom Special Sunday High Roller had another big field this week, with 1,097 entries in the $630 buy-in event pushing the prize pool to $658,200, comfortably clearing the guarantee. Congratulations to all 136 players who cashed, especially the top three:

  1. Lubava -> $127,764
  2. Tididdyc -> $93,076
  3. BuneahHistoriA -> $67,945

Venom Special Sunday Moneymaker $350,000 GTD

The $109 buy-in Sunday Moneymaker ran again with 3,402 entries, falling just shy of the guarantee and resulting in a $9,800 overlay. A total of 408 players finished in the money, and a three-way Final Table deal was made. Here’s how the top three finished:

  1. RoledupKings -> $45,761
  2. Kontominus -> $45,410
  3. Sr Huana -> $33,081

Phils Thrill

With its famous $10,300 buy-in, Phil’s Thrill brought another high-stakes contest to the Sunday schedule. This time, 58 entries built a $580,000 prize pool and seven players got paid. CEO Phil Nagy played once again and finished in 32nd place. Top three finishers:

  1. OMGHilarious -> $162,400
  2. zas911 -> $116,000
  3. XiaoJinYu -> $92,800

The Sunday Banana $400,000 GTD

The Sunday Banana served up another big turnout this week, with 438 entries pushing the $1,050 buy-in event to a $438,000 prize pool. With 55 players making the money, there was plenty on the line deep into the session. A two-way final table deal ultimately shaped the payouts. Congrats to the top three:

  1. BrottarKarin -> $83,641
  2. DavidLewis -> $83,620
  3. SourPussPuss -> $51,453

As we mentioned, our Dual Mystery Bounties kicked off yesterday with 623 entries in our $8 Million NLH event and 189 entries in our $2 Million PLO event. Don’t forget there are still four Day 1 flights remaining for both tournaments.  Day 1B gets underway at 12:05pm ET this Thursday, April 16th.
