Sunday Recap: Players cash in on big Venom schedule

Sunday was so much more than just the final Day 1 of the $5 Million Venom PKO. We also hosted special events as well as our signature tourneys. Read our full Sunday Recap below.

And don’t forget that the Venom PKO continues with Day 2 today, Day 3 tomorrow and the Final Table on Wednesday. Thanks to the 2,449 combined entrants for the four Day 1’s, the final prize pool reached $6,122,500. That includes a whopping $3,061,250 in bounties. We can’t wait to see who wins it all.

$300,000 GTD Sunday Warm Up
It’s no surprise that our $300K GTD Warm Up was even warmer than advertised. This time we had 3,253 total entries, which led to a final prize pool of $325,300 in this $109 buy-in tourney.  Congrats to all 408 players who cashed. Here’s the top 3:

$200,000 GTD Sunday Special 
With 1,080 total entries, our $200K GTD Sunday Special had a final prize pool of $216,000. When it was all said and done, 136 players won cash in this $215 buy-in event. The top three:

$500,000 GTD Sunday High Roller
1,132 high rollers participated in Sunday’s $500K GTD tournament. By the end of late registration, the final prize pool swelled to $679,200 in this $630 buy-in event, which had 136 paid places. The top three:

With 1,687 total entries, our $300K GTD Venom Special lived up to its name. 214 players took home dough in this $215 buy-in event, which had a final prize pool of $337,400. The top three:

393 high rollers got an early start on Sunday by playing in our $200K GTD tourney. The final prize pool was $235,800 in this $630 buy-in event, which had 48 paid places. The top three:
