Sunday Recap: Dual Venoms kick off

Our massive Dual Venoms got underway on Sunday with Day 1A. While players took advantage of our $10 Million GTD NLH and $2 Million GTD PLO tourneys, that was just part of the story as also hosted exciting Venom Specials.

Venom Sunday Special $250,000 GTD

With 1,256 entries in all, Sunday’s $250K unlimited re-entry tourney was as special as we anticipated. 162 players got paid in this $215 buy-in event, which had a final prize pool of $251,200. The top three:

Venom Special Euro High Roller $250,000 GTD

The Venom Special edition of our European High Roller tournament featured 460 entries competing for a final prize pool of $276,000. This $630 buy-in tourney had 61 paid places. Here’s the top three after a final table deal:

Venom Special Moneymaker $400,000 GTD

3,882 entrants took part in our increased $400K tournament, which is named after ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker. This $109 buy-in event had a modest $11,800 overlay and 486 players cashed. Here’s the top three:

Venom Special Sunday High Roller $750,000 GTD

There were 1,267 entries in Sunday’s $750K GTD High Roller tourney. The solid turnout in this $630 buy-in tourney led to a massive $760,200 final prize pool. Congrats to the 162 players who cashed, including the top three:

Venom Special Sunday Funday PKO – $250,000 GTD

Our special progressive knockout tourney featured 1,240 entries and a tiny $2,000 overlay. It featured a $126,000 prize pool and another $124,000 in bounties. 149 players cashed and even more earned bounties. Here’s the top three:
