Sunday Recap: Dual Venom tourneys each beat its guarantee

Our massive $8 Million GTD Mystery Bounty and $2 Million GTD PLO Venom events finished their Day 1’s yesterday and each tourney beat its guarantee in exciting fashion. We also had big Venom Special tourneys and our normal array of weekly events.

$8 Million Mystery Bounty and $2 Million PLO Venom
These two Venom tourneys each have a $2,650 buy-in. The Mystery Bounty finished with 3,234 entries and an $8,085,000 final prize pool and the PLO had 933 entries and a $2,332,500 prize pool. Day 2 is taking place today at 1:05pm ET and ACR Pros, Chris Moneymaker (91^st place), Michael Loncar (264^th), Drew Gonzalez (360^th) and Jon Pardy (432nd), are alive in the Mystery Bounty and Tom Dwan (89^th place) in the PLO. $750,000 VenomSpecial Sunday HR
There were 1,383 entries who played in Sunday’s $750K GTD VenomSpecial Sunday HR ($630 buy-in). That resulted in a big $829,800 prize pool. There were 175 players who cashed, including the top-3:

We also ran a $400,000 GTD VenomSpecial tourney ($1,050 buy-in) yesterday. There were 511 entries and a total prize pool of $511,000. The top three:

$300,000 GTD Sunday Moneymaker
Our Sunday Moneymaker event is $300K GTD every Sunday, and $500K the last Sunday of every month. There were 3,589 total entries in this $109 buy-in with a $358,900 final prize pool. Congrats to all 434 players who took home dough. The top-3 after a final table deal:
