Sunday Recap: Action Rolls On During the Holiday Rush

Holiday shopping may have been in full swing, but plenty of players still made time for the tables on Sunday. The schedule capped off the weekend with strong turnouts and another full slate of action.

Sunday Special $100,000 GTD

The Sunday Special delivered another steady showing this week, with 509 entries pushing the prize pool to $101,800. The $215 buy-in event paid out 67 players in total, with a final table deal shaping the closing results. When everything was settled, these three finished out front:

  1. TightTony23 -> $19,020
  2. DoggyCoin -> $18,786
  3. Sirbetzalot -> $11,630

Sunday High Roller $400,000 GTD

The $630 Sunday High Roller delivered another strong showing, with 674 entries building a $404,400 prize pool and edging past the guarantee. The action stayed competitive throughout the tourney, with 85 players locking up a payout before the final table settled the biggest prizes. Congrats to all, especially the top three:

  1. OutFoxenYou -> $83,562
  2. Justinije -> $61,271
  3. Serendipity -> $44,728

Phil’s Thrill

Phil’s Thrill attracted 32 entries this week, creating a $320,000 prize pool. The high-roller event once again carried a $10,300 buy-in, and Phil Nagy took his seat and finished in 15th place. When the dust settled, four players cashed with these three finishing at the top:

  1. GlobalElite222 -> $128,000
  2. danfu -> $86,400
  3. Alexyo -> $57,600

Mini Phil’s Thrill

With a $2,650 buy-in, our Mini Phil’s Thrill brought a compact but competitive field this week, with 41 entries building a $102,500 prize pool. Phil Nagy jumped into the mix once again but saw his run come to an end in 34th place as the field tightened. When play wrapped up, five players finished in the money, with this trio locking up the top payouts:

  1. WillyWonka -> $35,875
  2. 4Smashnoname -> $22,550
  3. kingqueensuited -> $17,425

Sunday Moneymaker $250,000 GTD

The Sunday Moneymaker, named after ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker, delivered another strong showing this week. The $109 buy-in event attracted 2,720 entries, building a $272,000 prize pool and comfortably clearing the guarantee. When play wrapped up, 331 players finished in the money, with these three claiming the top spots:

  2. fatboy88 -> $32,199
  3. Primords -> $23,505
