Three Halloween events finish with $836,930 in combined prize pools, while the WSOP Paradise Mega awards $210,000 in packages with a $38,000 overlay.

The Halloween bounty hunt is over, and the final numbers are bigger than advertised. ACR Poker’s three Halloween Mystery PKOs wrapped up on Sunday, November 1, turning $650,000 in combined guarantees into $836,930 in prize pools.

The Halloween Specials crowned champions at all three buy-ins, with bounty money giving the results an extra twist. The WSOP Paradise Mega added seven more $30,000 package winners, while the regular Sunday schedule produced a six-figure payday in the High Roller.

Halloween finishes with more than 30000 entries

Across the three Halloween events, players recorded 30,454 entries, including repeat entries across the starting flights. All three tournaments beat their guarantees, finishing $186,930 above the combined advertised total.

Tournament Entries and Prize Pools
Buy-in Guarantee Entries Prize Pool
$109 $500,000 5,623 $562,300
$33 $100,000 6,019 $180,570
$5.50 $50,000 18,812 $94,060

The $5.50 tournament came closest to doubling its guarantee, building a $94,060 prize pool against $50,000 advertised. Each event divided its total prize pool equally between regular payouts and bounties.

A title and the biggest payday can be different things

Ilvoirien won the $109 event, earning approximately $55,642 from $39,817 in regular prize money and $15,825 in bounties. A final-table deal changed the regular payouts, with runner-up Soxfan83 collecting approximately $55,261 including bounties.

Third-place finisher 777bob1k collected even more: approximately $75,325, made up of $36,810 in regular prize money and $38,516 in bounties. Among the top three finishers, the biggest total belonged to the player who finished third.

That is the appeal of Mystery PKO. Half of each revealed mystery prize is paid immediately, while the other half goes onto the eliminator’s progressive bounty. An opponent’s accumulated progressive bounty also splits 50/50 when they are knocked out, keeping money in play on players’ heads.

In the $33 event, DasZiel took the title and approximately $27,604, combining $15,970 in regular prize money with $11,634 in bounties. GrowBluffs finished second for approximately $22,779 including bounties.

The $5.50 event went to Xnumber1CHIPSX, whose $6,535 regular payout and $6,295 in bounties produced approximately $12,830 in total. Runner-up PotatoAllin collected approximately $5,359 including bounties.

Seven more Paradise packages and another overlay

The $1,050 WSOP Paradise Mega drew 172 entries and awarded all seven $30,000 packages. With $1,000 from each entry going toward the prizes, the field generated $172,000 against $210,000 in package value. ACR Poker covered the $38,000 shortfall.

The overlay continued a run of added value in the weekly Megas. The October 11 and October 18 editions each recorded more than $50,000 in overlay, followed by $20,000 on October 25. Sunday’s field again competed for the full package guarantee despite entry contributions falling short.

Each package includes a $26,000 Super Main Event entry and accommodation at SLS Baha Mar from December 5–18. The $50 million guaranteed Super Main Event runs December 10–17. Travel, meals and personal spending are additional costs.

A six figure Sunday High Roller win

The regular Sunday majors produced another $1,317,000 in prize pools across four events. Bing_Bong led the payouts, winning the $630 Sunday High Roller for approximately $104,721. The tournament drew 870 entries and finished with $522,000, topping its $500,000 guarantee.

R0dan0ar83 won the $1,050 Sunday Banana for approximately $75,728. Its 337 entries built a $337,000 prize pool, beating the $300,000 guarantee.

In the $109 Sunday Moneymaker, WilliamRed topped 2,796 entries to collect approximately $48,863 from the $300,000 guaranteed prize pool. The event had a $20,400 overlay.

The $215 Sunday Special drew 790 entries for a $158,000 prize pool against its $150,000 guarantee. 2rich2care took first place for approximately $31,834.

The next Bahamas chance is November 8

The next $1,050 Paradise Mega runs Sunday, November 8 at 3:05 p.m. ET, with seven more $30,000 packages guaranteed. Another seven are guaranteed November 15, followed by eight on November 22. Players can also qualify through $95 Beast satellites, whose winners are pre-registered for the following Sunday’s Mega.

Four consecutive overlays have made the Megas worth watching. For the next chance to win a December tournament entry and hotel stay, check the WSOP Paradise satellite schedule.
