ACR Poker Recaps a Huge OSS XL Sunday as Major Winners Take Down the Weekend’s Biggest Events

slippy12 leads the results with a six-figure score as seven Sunday events pay more than $1.9 million. Main Event flights and leaderboard races set up a busy final stretch, with Second Mortgage Week starting today.

slippy12 turned a $630 buy-in into $119,923.13, taking first place in OSS XL #215 after a final-table deal on Sunday, September 20. It was the largest winner’s payout across seven completed tournaments that together paid $1,906,800 during OSS XL at ACR Poker.

The Sunday winners ranged from high rollers to players in the $16.50 Sunday Splash and $27.50 Sunday Smash. Meanwhile, three Main Event flights moved players closer to the final stages of tournaments carrying $5 million in combined guarantees.

There is little time between the Sunday celebrations and the next big session. Second Mortgage Week begins today, Monday, September 21, while the OSS XL leaderboards remain in play across High, Medium and Low buy-in tiers.

The $600,000 guaranteed OSS XL #215 High Roller drew 1,204 entries, building a $722,400 prize pool. That put the event $122,400 above its guarantee, with 149 places paid.

A deal changed the final two payouts. slippy12 finished first for $119,923.13, while a6amKa4ePBb collected $114,033.45 as runner-up. GreekerFreaker took third for $72,129.47.

The earlier $630 High Roller, OSS XL #213H, also beat its guarantee. Its 499 entries produced $299,400, up from the advertised $250,000. G26 won $59,535.85 after a final-table deal, with VasOrtFlam receiving $52,132.86 in second and mieux earning $34,357.04 in third.

Five more titles from Sunday Splash to PLO

In OSS XL #216, tangerina77 topped a field of 1,177 entries to win $46,770.50. The $215 tournament paid its $250,000 guarantee across 149 places. dcheek2112 finished second for $34,194.25, ahead of Rigapols81 in third for $24,961.75.

At the $2,650 level, Infliponcio won Mini Phil’s Thrill #219 for $58,500. The tournament attracted 104 entries and paid $260,000, beating its $250,000 guarantee. MsChanandlerBong collected $46,020 in second, and PrinceOfMIA took $36,400 in third.

The four-card title went to HFNeon, who won $58,000 in Phil’s Thrill PLO #220. The $2,650, 6-max event finished with 80 entries and a $200,000 prize pool. MagnusCashson earned $39,000 as runner-up, while Harry Angel received $29,000 for third.

The smaller buy-ins produced five-figure winners, too. PedroPAAulo outlasted a field of 4,504 entries in the $16.50 Sunday Splash #213L, collecting $10,906.23 from its $75,000 prize pool. ppassarin1 finished second for $7,911.07, with Kea third for $5,775.07.

In the $27.50 Sunday Smash #217H, slavkopider claimed $15,779.70. The $100,000 tournament drew 3,479 entries and paid 434 places. Runner-up ruhrohitsryry earned $11,492.60, and AgRoMaKAkaKA collected $8,389.60 in third.

Sunday Splash and Sunday Smash alone accounted for 7,983 entries and $175,000 in prizes, with neither tourney beating its guarantee.

Three Main Events move closer to their final stages

Sunday also brought substantial fields to the three OSS XL Main Events. Those tournaments are still working toward their champions, with the completed flights giving advancing players a return date to mark on the calendar.

The $2,650 Main Event, carrying a $2.5 million guarantee, recorded 468 entries in Day 1A. The $1,050 Main Event, with $2 million guaranteed, drew 950 entries to its opening flight.

Both offer Day 1B on Sunday, September 27. Day 2 follows on Monday, September 28, with their final tables scheduled for Tuesday, September 29. Players entering the second flight should leave room for those additional days.

The $66 Main Event completed Day 1B with 2,564 entries. Day 2 is now set for this Sunday, September 27 with 493 remaining players. They will compete for a piece of the $500,000 prize pool after value-driven $202,100 overlay.

GROOTHEDEGEN ITILTHARD and MALEKSEY lead the races

As of Monday morning, September 21, GROOTHEDEGEN leads High, ITILTHARD heads Medium and MALEKSEY sits first in Low. These are current standings, with more OSS XL events still to come.

POT0FGREED is second in High with 3,833.57 points, followed by 4435GOLDENBOY on 3,306.76. In Medium, FEEDTHEPENGUIN has 1,251.79, narrowly ahead of LEETRUNGOOT on 1,224.69.

Low’s next two spots belong to BIGJUMBO27, with 740.36 points, and STORMAS, with 645.74. ITILTHARD also appears fifth in Low, making the Medium leader a name to watch in two divisions.

The three races offer more than $60,000 in added cash and tournament tickets. First place pays $15,000 in High, $7,500 in Medium and $4,000 in Low. Points come from in-the-money finishes in series events, so the closing schedule can still affect the order.

Second Mortgage Week gets underway today

Today, Monday, September 21, begins Second Mortgage Week: 10 Nosebleed Stakes tournaments across five playing days, running through September 28. There are two events on each playing day, with buy-ins ranging from $5,200 to $25,500.

The schedule includes No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha, plus 6-max and 8-max formats. ACR Pros Chris Moneymaker and Alex Foxen, along with CEO Phil Nagy, are expected to compete.

The biggest entry comes on Sunday, September 27, with the $25,500 NLH 8-Max. That puts the highest buy-in of Second Mortgage Week on the same day as the next flights of the $2,650 and $1,050 Main Events and Day 2 of the $66 edition.

The final playing day, Monday, September 28, pairs a $15,400 NLH 8-Max with a $5,200 NLH 6-Max R/A. With the two larger Main Events also reaching Day 2 that Monday, the closing stretch gives high-stakes players plenty to work into their schedules.
