$40 Million OSS XL wraps up as huge success

Our OSS XL series just wrapped up in spectacular fashion. The extra-large version of our flagship tourney series had $40 Million in guarantees from September 8^th-30^th and finished with $46,201,608 in final prize pools.

This series was highlighted by four Main Events and three massive Multi-flight tourneys. But one thing that didn’t change is that it appealed to all players (beginners to the pro), with a great selection of small, medium and large buy-ins.

Here’s a summary of the biggest tourneys and winners:

Four Main Events

• $2 Million GTD ($2,650 buy-in) > $2,405,000 prize pool – Winner: vousconfus ($465,317)
• $2 Million GTD ($1,050 buy-in) > $2,171,000 prize pool – Winner: JustVanilla ($365,601)
• $1 Million GTD ($215 buy-in) > $1,031,800 prize pool – Winner: manuelmpc ($151,557)
• $500,000 GTD PLO ($2,650 buy-in) > $500,000 prize pool – Winner: Sm1le1t1me ($122,807)

Three Multiflights

• $2 Million GTD ($630 buy-in) > $2,085,600 prize pool – Winner: YOUKNOWWHOIAM ($320,144)
• $1 Million GTD Mystery Bounty ($109 buy-in) > $1,337,400 prize pool – Winner: bk2mcdssoon ($99,196 in prize money and $13,000 in bounties)
• $750,000 GTD ($55 buy-in) > $750,000 prize pool – Winner: Tacoenater ($93,080)

One of the other aspects of the OSS XL is the Leaderboard Competition that we fully fund. It paid out over $60,000 in cash and tourney tickets. And there were three different leaderboards based on High, Medium, and Low buy-ins, so everyone had a good chance to cash-in.
