His strategic gameplay on the show ultimately led to victory. So perhaps his recent switch to the poker world shouldn’t be too surprising, given his talent for the tactical. In 2020, we welcomed him to the fold as an ACR Pro. Pardy credits a fellow reality TV contestant with sparking his interest in the game—it was Bill Perkins who really kicked off his fledgling poker career. Along with fellow ACR pro Drew Gonzalez, he was part of the Thirst Lounge team. And this particular project equipped the Newfoundland native with all the necessary tools needed to develop his game.
