Sunday Recap: Players Make the Most of Venom Specials on Dual Venom Day 1E

Yesterday was Day 1E of the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms, with players taking another shot at the $12 Million GTD NLH Mystery Bounty Venom and $3 Million GTD PLO Mystery Bounty Venom.

And that wasn’t all. We also hosted a packed lineup of Venom Specials, adding even more big-money action to Sunday’s schedule. Read our Sunday Recap for full details.

Venom Special – $600,000 GTD High Roller

The Venom Specials brought plenty of big-money action of their own, led by the $630 buy-in High Roller. A total of 1,130 entries pushed the prize pool beyond its $600,000 guarantee to $678,000, with 136 players earning a share. Congrats to everyone who cashed, especially the top three:

  2. KathSolomon -> $95,876
  3. Goldenmn -> $69,989

Venom Special – $250,000 GTD

Players also turned out in force for the $215 Venom Special, with 1,242 entries competing for a $250,000 prize pool. A total of 149 players made the money, and a final-table deal helped determine the payouts at the top. Well played to everyone who made a deep run, including the top three:

Venom Special – $200,000 GTD

Another Venom Special beat its guarantee on Sunday, as 347 entries in the $630 buy-in event generated a $208,200 prize pool. Forty-three players walked away with a payout. A special shoutout goes to the top three:

  1. BARRELSWEET -> $46,785
  2. TexasMike1967 -> $34,173
  3. armin1912 -> $24,946

Phils Thrill

Named after our CEO, Phil’s Thrill once again gave high rollers a chance to battle for one of Sunday’s biggest prizes. This week, 35 entries put up the $10,300 buy-in, creating a $350,000 prize pool with five players making the money. Congratulations to all five who cashed, especially the top three:

  3. LelijkHond -> $59,500

The Sunday Banana – $400,000 GTD

The Sunday Banana had plenty of appeal, with 435 entries paying $1,050 each, peeling past the $400,000 guarantee to create a $435,000 prize pool. Fifty-five players cashed before the last banana standing was decided. No slipping up for these top three:

The Sunday Moneymaker – $300,000 GTD

Named after ACR Pro and 2003 WSOP Main Event champion Chris Moneymaker, The Sunday Moneymaker continues to give players a shot at a major Sunday prize for a $109 buy-in. Yesterday’s tournament attracted 3,138 entries, building a $313,800 prize pool and sending 383 players to the cashier. Congrats to these top three:
