The Sept. 6-29 series opens with a stacked Sunday schedule before three Main Events, four major multi-flights, 10 Nosebleed Stakes tournaments and $60K+ in added leaderboard prizes.

The wait is almost over. OSS XL begins at ACR Poker on Sunday, Sept. 6, launching a 24-day schedule with 336 events and more than $50 million guaranteed through Sept. 29.

Opening Sunday gets straight to the point. The schedule includes a $600,000 GTD event with a $630 buy-in, separate $500,000 GTD tournaments at $2,650 and $1,050, the $400,000 GTD Moneymaker at $109 and a $150,000 GTD Mystery Bounty at $66. Players will also find PKOs, 6-max tournaments, PLO and PLO8 before the day is done.

That is only Day 1. OSS XL then runs through three Main Events, four major multi-flights, a week of nosebleed buy-ins and a leaderboard race that keeps paying after the tournament payouts are settled. In other words, the XL button appears to be stuck.

Three Main Events Put $5 Million GTD on the Line

The closing stretch revolves around three Main Events with $5 million combined guaranteed. The biggest carries a $2.5 million guarantee and $2,650 buy-in, while the second offers $2 million guaranteed for $1,050.

Both begin with Day 1A on Sunday, Sept. 20, return for Day 1B on Sunday, Sept. 27, and continue to Day 2 on Monday, Sept. 28. Their final tables are scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Players looking for a lower-cost Main Event can target the $500,000 GTD tournament with a $66 buy-in. Its Day 1 flights run Sept. 13 and 20, followed by Day 2 on Sept. 27. $6.60 satellites provide an even cheaper starting point.

Four Multi-Flights Start This Sunday

Players do not have to wait for Main Event week to build a serious stack. All four featured multi-flights begin on Sept. 6 and combine for $2.225 million guaranteed.

The largest is a $1.5 million GTD Main Multi-Flight with a $630 buy-in. Day 1s run throughout Sept. 6-28, with Day 2 on Sept. 28. Three Mystery Bounty multi-flights fill out the group: $500,000 GTD at $109, $150,000 GTD at $33 and $75,000 GTD at $5.50.

The $109 Mystery Bounty reaches Day 2 on Sept. 21. The $33 and $5.50 events keep their flights open through Sept. 27, when both move to Day 2.

Then the Nosebleed Stakes Arrive

From Sept. 21-28, the top end of the schedule gets considerably less subtle. OSS XL will stage 10 Nosebleed Stakes tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $5,000 to $25,000.

That gives high-stakes players a concentrated eight-day run while the Main Events and multi-flights approach their biggest days. Reasonable financial decisions are still available elsewhere in the lobby.

Three Leaderboards, More Than $60K Added

Tournament cashes are not the only prizes in play. The OSS XL Leaderboard Competition adds more than $60,000 in cash and tournament tickets across High, Medium and Low buy-in levels.

The High Leaderboard covers buy-ins of $104.50 or more and pays $15,000 to first. The Medium Leaderboard, covering $16.50-$88 buy-ins, pays $7,500 to first, while the Low Leaderboard for buy-ins below $15 awards $4,000 to its winner.

Players can choose the tier that fits their bankroll, accumulate points through their OSS XL results and give themselves another reason to sweat every finishing position.

Tickets, Satellites and More US-Friendly Times

Direct buy-ins are only one route into the series. The Beast will award OSS XL seats throughout September, including $1,050 and $2,650 tickets. Satellites will also feed players into major events, including the $6.60 qualifiers for the $66 Main Event.

The schedule also includes more events in US-friendly time slots. That should make it easier to play a full series day without turning breakfast into a final-table meal, although staying up all night remains a proud poker tradition.
