ACR Poker Adds Saturday Bonus Flight as $15 Million Dual Venoms Enter Final Week

Three 12:05 p.m. ET starting opportunities now remain after six flights produced 2,738 NLH entries, 713 PLO entries and growing potential overlay value for the closing stretch.

The final week of ACR Poker’s $15 million Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms just gained an extra starting line. A newly added Saturday, August 29 Bonus Flight joins Day 1G on Thursday and the final Day 1 on Sunday, giving NLH and PLO players three remaining chances to reach Day 2 instead of two.

All three flights begin at 12:05 p.m. ET. Saturday also brings $355,000 in guaranteed Venom Specials, adding a fresh tournament slate between the original Thursday and Sunday Venom dates. Players can review the wider $10.16 million Venom Specials schedule, the remaining Venom Fever qualification routes and the Venom Vault before the window closes Sunday.

The first six flights have drawn 2,738 entries in the $12 million NLH Venom and 713 entries in the $3 million PLO Venom. So far, 320 NLH qualifiers and 83 PLO qualifiers have advanced. With the guarantees still some distance away and only the final three flights left, the closing stretch is shaping up as a serious potential overlay opportunity—although late registration and the final-week turnout can still change the picture quickly.

Three Flights Remain

The extra Saturday flight turns the final week into a three-date sprint. Each remaining date offers simultaneous starting opportunities in the $12 million GTD NLH Mystery Bounty Venom and the $3 million GTD PLO Mystery Bounty Venom, both carrying a $2,650 buy-in.

Thursday, August 27 — Day 1G: The next scheduled flight begins at 12:05 p.m. ET, giving players the first shot of the final week.

Saturday, August 29 — New Bonus Flight: The added NLH and PLO flights begin at 12:05 p.m. ET and play down to 12% of their starting fields.

Sunday, August 30 — Final Day 1: The last route to Day 2 begins at 12:05 p.m. ET. Once late registration closes, there are no more starting flights to fall back on.

Saturday Is the New Wild Card

The Bonus Flight matters because it gives players another route between Thursday’s Day 1G and Sunday’s finale. Anyone who misses Thursday no longer has to wait until the last possible day, while existing qualifiers gain another opportunity to add chips under the cumulative-stack format.

Players may enter multiple Day 1s from the same account and combine qualifying stacks for Day 2. That makes the Saturday flight useful whether the goal is to secure a first bag or arrive Monday with more chips available for the bounty hunt.

$355,000 in Saturday Venom Specials

Saturday’s added flight does not arrive alone. The lobby will also feature $355,000 in guaranteed Venom Specials, giving players more options before, during and after the two 12:05 p.m. ET starting flights.

The Specials have already brought regular NLH tournaments, PKOs, 6-Max events, Mystery Bounties and Omaha variants into the Dual Venoms window. Saturday adds another date to build a full session around the new flights instead of making the main events the only tables that matter.

The Overlay Watch Is Real

The current entry totals put the guarantees under the microscope. Through Day 1F, the NLH Venom has recorded 2,738 entries against its $12 million guarantee, while the PLO field stands at 713 entries against $3 million guaranteed.

That does not lock in an overlay. Three full starting opportunities remain, and the last weekend of a major multi-flight tournament can move fast. Still, the gap is large enough to make the final week especially interesting for players: if the fields do not fully cover the guarantees, ACR Poker funds the difference in the prize pools.

The qualifier counts add another useful snapshot. 320 NLH qualifiers and 83 PLO qualifiers have reached Day 2 so far. Those qualifiers are already in the money, and stacks earned in additional flights can be combined before the fields return Monday.

Day 2 Turns Every Knockout Into a Sweat

Day 2 begins Monday, August 31 at 1:05 p.m. ET. That is when the Mystery Bounty phase begins and every remaining player is already guaranteed a cash.

The NLH event can award a Mystery Bounty as large as $500,000, while the PLO top bounty reaches $250,000. Both tournaments carry a $5,000 minimum Mystery Bounty, so every successful Day 2 knockout has immediate five-figure potential.

The PLO tournament moves from Day 2 directly to its final table on Wednesday, September 2 at 4:05 p.m. ET. The NLH field adds Day 3 on Tuesday, September 1 at 1:05 p.m. ET before returning for its final table at the same Wednesday time.

One Last Weekend to Find a Seat

Players do not have to pay the full $2,650 to take a shot. Venom Fever continues through Sunday with Direct and Mega Satellites, Venom Madness, Survivor Flips and Spin to Get In. The Venom Vault also remains open through August 30, with key prizes ranging from Survivor Flip Step tickets to a full Venom seat.

The final-week decision is now simple: Thursday, Saturday or Sunday—and possibly more than one. Open the ACR Poker tournament schedule, choose NLH or PLO, and take the added shot before the Dual Venoms move to Day 2.
